Additional Information
Doktorwerder is a river island in the Werra and can be reached via the historic Werra Bridge between the Old Town and the “Blume” neighborhood.
The dance floor is made of OSB panels and is intended for dancing in street shoes. The music includes cha-cha-cha, disco fox, foxtrot, jive, slow waltz, rumba, tango, and Viennese waltz.
You may bring your own food and drinks. Chilled beverages in single-serve bottles are also sold on site. Seating is available on the park benches provided; you’re welcome to bring your own picnic blankets.
The restroom facilities will be open during the event.
Attendance is limited to 150 people. This will be managed at the entrance using a simple clip system: Please take a clip upon entering and return it when you leave. If no clips are available, the island is full.
In case of uncertain weather conditions, the organizer will announce on www.draussentanzen.org and on the Ballettverein Münden Facebook page whether the event has been canceled. Unless otherwise stated there, the event will take place.
