Permakultur ist keine Anbaumethode, sondern ein Gestaltungskonzept, um Muster und Elemente nachhaltiger Ökosysteme nachzuahmen. In dem 1,7 ha großen Areal der Künstlerfamilie werden in einer zweistündigen interaktiven Führung die inhaltlichen Ansätze und Werkzeuge dieser Planung verdeutlicht. Auf einer Streuobstwiese und einer Feuchtwiese an einem Bachlauf wird Permakultur begeh- und begreifbar. Die Nutzung von Randzonen, Einladen der Tierwelt, Vermeidung von Abfällen oder Ansätze zum Bodenaufbau spielen hierbei eine Rolle. Die Kunstwerke regionaler und auswärtiger Künstler/innen unterstützen diese Ideen oder provozieren neue Gedanken und führen zu einem gemeinsamen Austausch, wie zukunftsfähige Konzepte entstehen können.
