Am Himmelfahrtswochenende erwacht die Zeit des 18. Jahrhunderts zum Leben: Rund 150 Reenactment-Darsteller schlagen ein authentisches Lager hessischer Soldaten auf. Höhepunkt ist ein Gottesdienst unter freiem Himmel am Himmelfahrtstag.
Die Veranstaltung knüpft an das große Festungsjubiläum 2024 an und lässt Geschichte lebendig werden.
