Organ Summer 2026

With Dorothea Peppler, the Münden Organ Summer 2026 welcomes an experienced church musician and organist from Bad Lauterberg. As cantor of St. Andrew's Church, she has been shaping church music life there for many years with concerts, church services and musical projects. Her repertoire ranges from baroque and romantic works to modern sacred compositions. She regularly organizes organ concerts and chamber music evenings and is also active as a choir director.

In her programs, Dorothea Peppler combines musical expressiveness with great stylistic diversity. Her repertoire includes music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Josef Rheinberger and Max Reger in particular. As an organist, she is known for her sensitive interpretation and her ability to bring out the tonal possibilities of historical and modern organs in equal measure.

The Münden Organ Summer is an annual concert series and is one of the cultural highlights of the region. The concerts offer the opportunity to experience renowned organists in the special atmosphere of the historic St. Blasius Church.
