Weihnachtskonzert der MGV Liedertafel e.V. ist einer der traditionsreichsten Chöre im Sängerbund Reinhardswald-Diemel und gestaltet als ein wichtiger Teil das chorische Leben der Kurstadt Bad Karlshafen und der Region.
Seit über 180 Jahren besteht der Männerchor und seit mehr als 30 Jahren der Frauenchor und damit auch die Möglichkeit des gemischten Chorgesanges. Das Liedgut unserer Zeit und früherer Generationen soll erhalten bleiben; denn es soll nicht im globalisierten Musikmix untergehen. Dazu gibt es heute und sicher auch in Zukunft einen hohen Bedarf. Der Chor ist eine Brücke zur Tradition.
