Landhaus Bärenmühle

The Bärenmühle im Tal is majestically embedded between forest and fields. A stylish refuge surrounded by enchanting nature, the Bärenmühle im Tal sits on the edge of the Kellerwald National Park. Far away from the usual trails, peace and purity reign here; the bubbling brook and the twittering birds are the only noises you’ll hear in the stylish, historical ambience of the mill. The listed estate is a romantic place to stay the night – just as the old millers used to, but with modern comfort. Around a dozen rooms are decorated in an elegant country house style, and embellished with regional history. Hiking paths can be found right on the doorstep; these routes wind through the lovely meadow dales, past old mills, castles, church ruins, and sleepy villages. Relax after your walk with the Bärenmühle’s “Wellnest” facilities, which include a sauna house, cabin fire, and massage parlour.

The price includes heating, electricity, bedding, towels and bedding. These are for two people; any further adults will be charged an extra €45 per night, plus meals. Children under 12 will be charged an extra €25.00, plus meals. Baby beds are available for €12.50. If you would just like to stay one night, there is a surcharge of €10 for all rooms, suites and apartments. If you are staying for longer than a week, we are happy to provide you with a family holiday discount.

Dogs are allowed, however we do charge a one-off cleaning fee of €20 per dog; if you are staying for more than one week, the cleaning fee will be due weekly. If you would like a daily cleaning service, dogs will cost €12 per day.

The rooms are all equipped with hairdryers, make-up mirrors, satellite televisions, radios, CD players, and cassette recorders. Some rooms are also furnished with ovens; if you like, we can also provide you with a video recorder and DVD player. Bathrobes and warm slipper socks are also available on request.
