Altefeld ist das letzte in Deutschland erbaute Hauptgestüt, hat seine architektonischen Wurzeln in Trakehnen und seine züchterischen Wurzeln in der Vollblutzucht. Auf ca. 100 Quadratmetern Ausstellungsfläche ist eine Dokumentation der Altefelder Geschichte zu sehen. Das Museum ist nur auf Anfrage geöffnet.
