The Eisenberg castle ruins, surrounded by ramparts and a moat, are located at around 560m above sea level on the summit of the Eisenberg near Korbach-Goldhausen.

The complex offers children a huge adventure area, while adults can deal with the history, which dates back to the 13th century and is explained on illustrated information boards.

From the neighboring Georg Viktor observation tower, you have a great panoramic view from the peaks of the Sauerland to the Eder mountains or the Habichtswald near Kassel. The digital "Georg Viktor Turm PANORAMA" uses augmented reality to bring the castle ruins back to life in all their glory.

The gold trail, a visitor mine, a forest sports trail and the Eisenberg inn (open during summer on weekends) complete the offer - there is something for everyone!
