Henschel Museum and Collection
Experience the industrial history of North Hesse
In addition to the models, there are numerous exhibits on the history of the Henschel family, from busts of the company bosses to a large-format painting by Sophie Henschel.
The Henschel Museum is run by an association that was founded in 2002. In its statutes, it undertakes to preserve the "heritage" of the Henschel family and company and to make it accessible to the public. The aim is to commemorate the economic, cultural and social activities of six generations. In 2004, the Henschel company archive and the technical library were handed over to the association. Since 2009, the association has also looked after the Henschel family archive on its premises.
