The Sara Nussbaum Centre is a secular place for Jewish culture and history in Kassel. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the house offers space for temporary exhibitions, lectures, concerts, workshops and the opportunity for encounters.

This permanent exhibition on the more than 700-year history of Jews in Kassel traces the history of Jewish life in the city—from religious traditions and daily life to social engagement, persecution, and the Shoah—while also focusing on the present.
