Verschiedene Waldbilder, alte Huteeichen und ein bronzezeitliches Hügelgrab machen den Wanderweg interesssant. Vom nördlichen Waldrand aus bietet sich ein wunderbarer Blick hinüber zur Burgruine Desenberg, die schon in Nordrhein-Westfalen liegt.
