Yin and Yang (street art)
In 2019, Kassel-based artist Jackules designed the artwork for a courtyard entrance in Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. It is one of many works in which Jackules takes up the Platonic solids. These are the five most symmetrical polygons. In ancient Greek philosophy, these were assigned to five elements. In the artwork, Plato's philosophy was harmonised with ancient Chinese philosophy. Thus, the Platonic bodies and their elements, according to the principle of yin and yang, were processed on two opposite walls;
