Dieser Weg führt auf tlw. steinigem Pfad bergab zum „Asch“, einem künstlich angelegten See, der ursprünglich als Reservoire für weitere Wasserspiele im Bergpark gedacht war. Der Rückweg erfolgt auf einem bequemen Forstweg entlang des Aschgrabens.
Auf halber Wegstrecke passiert man den „Kleinen Herkules “, der 1696 errichtet und als möglicher Ausgangspunkt der Wasserspiele gleich wieder verworfen wurde. Für diesen Weg ist ein Wandern im Uhrzeigersinn empfehlenswert.
