Die vielen Laubbäume und Wiesen entfalten ihre Schönheit im Frühling, aber im Sommer blüht alles und im goldenen Herbst gibt es wunderschöne Tagestouren durch unsere Ortschaften.
Der R1 ist ein sehr abwechslungsreicher Wanderweg, der zunächst "durch die Klus" und weiter ein kurzes Stück gemeinsam mit dem Diemelsteig verläuft. Markante Höhen bieten sehr schöne Ausblicke auf Diemelsee-Adorf und die dahinterliegenden Höhenzüge.
