On August 31, a guided tour of the town will provide information about the life of Duchess Elisabeth of Calenberg-Göttingen, who had her residence in Münden in the 16th century in the Guelph Palace. Known as a regent, reformer and advisor, the aim is to provide an insight into this extraordinary woman's life, which has been forgotten for far too long.
The city tour starts at 2 p.m. in front of the historic town hall of Hann. Münden and leads, among other things, into the chambers of the Guelph Palace. The number of participants is therefore limited to 25.
Admission is free. Prior registration is not necessary.
Unfortunately, accessibility cannot be guaranteed for all rooms.
