The quarries on the Papenberg

The hike takes you into the past world of quarries.

They were still being worked 100 years ago. Time seems to have stood still since these places were abandoned. These are remote and forgotten places that are waiting to be explained.

Note: Route length approx. 6 km, large differences in altitude, unfortunately the route is not barrier-free, sturdy footwear is required.

Meeting point: Small parking lot at Rodland, behind the tunnel on the left, access to the Blümer Berg cemetery forest, 34346 Hann. Münden
