Die vorhandene Renaissance-Parkanlage aus dem 16. Jh. wurde ab 1770 von Heinrich von Meysenbug in Zusammenarbeit mit Johann Heinrich Müntz im englischen Stil umgestaltet.
Der Park war ausgestattet mit zahlreichen Architekturen wie Obelisk, Einsiedlerhütte, Turmruine, die u. a. die Themen Liebe, Tod und Trauer ausdrückten. Wasserspiele und Teufelsbrücke sind seit 2010 wieder instandgesetzt. Im Westen des Schlossparks befindet sich der Tiergarten mit einem alten, mittlerweile ergänzten Bestand an Obstbäumen.
Teile des Gartens befinden sich in Privatbesitz. Für die Besichtigung ist eine Anmeldung erwünscht.
