Bicycle tour along the Weser

You start your tour at Hann. Münden town hall. From there you move onto Ziegelstraße, which runs alongside the town hall. Ride along this road until you reach Radbrunnenstraße. Turn right here and cross the Pionierbrücke bridge. At the Pionierbrücke bridge, turn right again. You are now on the R1 cycle path towards Reinhardshagen, approx. 12 km (if you want to shorten the tour, you can already cross the river by ferry in Reinhardshagen). From Reinharshagen follow the R1 cycle path to Gieselwerder, approx. 15 km. There you pass the Weser bridge and now cycle along the Weser cycle path on the left-hand side of the Weser back towards Hann. Münden. After 5 km you pass Oedelsheim and reach the village of Bursfelde with the former Benedictine monastery of Bursfelde. The monastery church is open daily from 8 am to 6.30 pm. Admission is free. Continue past the villages of Glashütte and Hemeln to Gimte, where you will find a cycle path church.  At the end of Gimte, continue to the right on the Weser Cycle Path and cross the Alte Werrabücke (2nd bridge). You are now in Lange Straße. After a few metres, you will reach your starting point, the town hall of Hann. Münden.
