Der recht bequeme Weg verläuft komplett auf Forstwegen um den Erzeberg - einem Basaltkegel - herum. Abwechselnde Wald- und Offenlandabschnitte machen den Reiz dieses Rundweges aus und bieten tolle Ausblicke auf Bad Emstal.
